Bio
Gary is Professor Oak's Nephew, and that's probably why he shows off so much. Gary used to be friends with Ash (at least in the GB Game it was like that), but when they both wanted to become Pokémon Masters, Gary started to be mean to Ash. Now he is Ash's rival, and quite a good Pokémon trainer. In the Indigo League he lost to his opponent in the fourth round.

Until he lost in the Indigo League Gary was usually seen with his cheerleaders. He collected 10 Badges before losing to Giovanni's Mewtwo. After losing in the League he continued his journey without his cheerleaders, and he became a better trainer after that. In "The Rivalry Revival" Gary's Eevee beat Ash's Pikachu.

Like Ash, Gary collects any kind of Pokémon, but it sounds as if he has caught more than Ash.
